Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
We've had a very busy December including an early Christmas in Calgary, a trip to Tofino, a day of skiing, and lots of fun Christmas parties. Plenty of photos below...scroll down if you want to view them in chronological order.

Boxing Day

On Boxing Day we went to my Uncle Dennis and Auntie Hazel's house for another yummy turkey dinner. There were 15 of us and we all sat around a very big table. I had fun trying to say everyone's names. Sometimes I got the names a little mixed up...I think Auntie Jack sounds very nice. I don't know why everyone laughed at me! Auntie Hazel had some Christmas decorations on the stairs that I thought were very beautiful.

Christmas Day

On Christmas morning Casey and I had a great time opening our stockings. Casey was so excited to get her own doggie cookie, and Santa must have known I'd be jealous because he brought me animal crackers. Then I opened my presents from Mommy and Daddy and we had a yummy breakfast. Later we went to Gamma and Gampa's house for dinner and I got to open more presents with my cousins Emma and Max. My favourite part of dinner was Gamma's trifle - yummy!!

Partying with Great Grandma

On Christmas Eve I went to the big party at my Great Grandma's Lodge. Great Gram was all dressed up because she was in the bell choir. She did a really great job! I enjoyed smelling the pretty flowers she was wearing. I said Merry Christmas to the fish in the big tank at her lodge, and I admired the shiny presents under the tree.

First time on skis!

I went skiing!!!!.......for about three minutes :-) The rest of the time I enjoyed a free ride from Daddy in my chariot :-) Maybe next time we go up the mountain I'll give skiing another try.

Tofino Holiday

After we got home from Calgary we went out to Tofino and stayed in a great little log cabin. It was decorated with Christmas lights and had a cozy fireplace and window seat that I liked to sit and read in. It was fun to watch big waves breaking on the beach and Casey chasing after her stick!

Early Christmas in Calgary

We celebrated an early Christmas during the second weekend of December with Uncle Brendan, Auntie Nadia, Cousin Alex and Cousin Ben. I wasn't feeling very well that weekend and clung to Mommy a lot, so Mommy didn't get to take as many pictures as she wanted to. We still had tons of fun though just being together. I really loved the smell of the tree and the pretty red beads on it. It was also lots of fun to spend time with my cousins and play with their toys :-)
