Hiking at Lake O'Hara

Ryan had the day off yesterday so we headed up to Lake O'Hara. The larch trees were gorgeous! It was a wonderful way to end our two months in Golden. We'll be back in the Wack tomorrow :-)

Hiking in Kicking Horse Country

On Saturday we did an amazing 21 km loop hike called the "Iceline" in Yoho Park. The trail traverses terrain that was covered by glaciers less than a century ago. Samuel was a great little trooper on Daddy's back. Casey was a wonderful diaper sherpa and also 'supervised' the diaper changes as you can see in the photo! On Sunday we took the gondola up to the top of Kicking Horse Resort and enjoyed a lovely brunch and some more hiking on the ridges. On the way down we saw Boo the grizzly bear enjoying a soak in a pond right below the gondola!

5 Months Old!

It's hard to believe that Samuel is already 5 months old. He's been a busy little traveller these days but seems to be enjoying all his weekend adventures.
