The Sunshine Coast

We had a wonderful holiday on the Sunshine Coast last weekend. We stayed in the Bigfoot and enjoyed exploring many beautiful beaches and parks. A highlight for Samuel was trying out his new backpack carrier. He loved hiking on Daddy's back :-) A highlight for Casey was taking naps with Samuel in the trailer. Here are some photos from the weekend as well as a few other pictures taken in the past few days.

A Busy Boy

Samuel is 12 weeks old. His favourite activities during the past few days have included "talking" and kicking his legs, playing with his friend Caleb (who is 6 weeks younger), and practicing roll-overs in front of his puppy Casey (who seems genuinely interested in them...notice the furry paws in the photo :-)

Hot Summer Days

There is no question that summer has arrived in the Wack! We've been enjoying the wonderful weather... but I have to admit, a few degrees cooler would sure be nice! We've tried to beat the heat a few times by heading out to Cultus Lake for a swim. This past weekend we camped at Manning Park with Karyn and Shawn. Paul and Joni (Paul is a new resident) joined us on Saturday and we had a great time hiking up Windy Joe Mountain.

Enjoying a break from hiking...Samuel is more interested in his puppy than the camera!
