Chilliwack Lake

We had a relaxing overnight getaway to Chilliwack Lake. On Friday night we stayed along the Chilliwack River and had a campfire to burn all the wood scraps that have been accumulating in our garage from Ryan's various renovation projects. Bigfoot (trailer) provided a warm, cozy place to sleep. On Saturday we went for a short hike along the river and down to the lake. As usual Casey was thrilled to chase pine cones and sticks (over...and over....and over again!) and she also had her first swim of the season!

Prince George

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Prince George. We had a great visit with our friends Reta and James, and we were thrilled to meet their darling new baby girl, Danica. We also drove to Chetwynd (about 3 hrs from Prince George) to purchase a used (1994) 17 ft Bigfoot Travel Trailer. We made the trip home in 2 days so we had a chance to try it out. We're looking forward to many more fun adventures with the Bigfoot this summer.

Bellingham Weekend

We had a fun overnight trip to Bellingham area (Whatcom Meadows near Burlington) with our friends Curtis, Vanessa, and Ethan. We stayed at a rustic little cabin surrounded by gorgeous trees that belongs to a friend of Curtis & Vanessa's. A highlight was a walk along the Sandstone cliffs at Larrabee State Park on Saturday morning. The sun was shining and the scenery was gorgeous. The feeling of Spring was in the air :-) Ethan (17 months) and Casey had fun playing on the beach together. Afterwards we stopped at a great 50's style diner for burgers and the yummiest milkshakes ever!!!
