Samuel Ryan

Introducing the newest member of our family, Samuel Ryan. He was born at 2:13pm on Thursday, April 13/2006, 3 weeks and 1 day early, weighing 6lbs 12oz and 19 inches long. Karen had a 13 hour labour with no complications and only a Demerol shot (which did nothing) and Nitrous oxide gas for pain. Samuel was bright eyed the entire first day. Since then he's a lot more sleepy, probably due to his jaundice. Here are photos of his first few days of life.
