Gulf Islands Holiday

Our move to Nanaimo went smoothly and we are finally unpacked and settling in. Last week we enjoyed a wonderful holiday in the Gulf Islands. It was great to relax after all the busyness of moving. Samuel slept very well in the Bigfoot (yay!) and seemed to love camping, hiking, and exploring beaches. The weather was gorgeous the whole week and the islands very quiet after the long weekend.

Already dirty and we haven't even reached camp!

Enjoying a snack in the trailer

The view from Bodega Ridge - Galiano Island

Canoeing in Montague Harbour (Galiano Island)

Enjoying an evening stroll in Montague Harbour

Stopping to smell the "flow-flows"

The view is great from way up here!

Sunset in Montague Harbour

At the top of Mt. Galiano

Mommy's shoes are much more interesting than a sand bucket

Hanging around the campsite

Hiking on Mayne Island

Enjoying a drink of Daddy's water

Exploring the tidal pools

Ruckle Provincial Park on Saltspring Island

...and here is a little video footage of our happy little hiker :-)

Awesome pics - particularly love the boat at sunset, and the cheeky chappy canoeing!
