Yak Peak via the route "Yak Ceck", 5.9, 13 pitches, October 4th, 2006
This route has long been on Dave and my tick list. Finally weather and time off coincided for an attempt.
The mountain is located on the north side of the Coquihalla highway just before the toll booth.
Luckily we left the car at 7am as it took us 12 hours to complete the route from car to car using all the available daylight. We were glad to be the only ones on the route as we kicked loose a bunch of pebbles and rocks.
Here are the highlight pics.

The end of the approach from the highway.

A veiw from the start at sunrise.

Starting off on the wrong foot. The actual start was 30m to the right but Dave made great work of the scarier and harder version.

Runout on crap rock and no protection

The splitter crack on pitch 2, beautiful.

Ryan on rappel
From sunrise to sunset, we were nearing the bottom.
